Bari Clinical Terms

Last updated: October 11, 2026

1. Purpose and how these terms fit

These Bari Clinical Terms apply when you select "For clinical learning" or otherwise use Bari Clinical, including Bari Sim and Bari Weekly. They add to the Bari Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, offered by Flemming Consulting Group, LLC, doing business as Bari ("we"). Bari is owned and operated by Flemming Consulting Group, LLC. If these Clinical Terms conflict with the Terms of Use about Bari Clinical, these Clinical Terms control for Bari Clinical.

2. Who can use it

Bari Clinical is only for adults 18 or older who pass Bari's verification. We verify in one of two ways:

You must give true information about yourself. Students must use Bari Clinical only for education and within the rules of their school, program, supervisor, and the law.

3. Education and professional reference only

Bari Clinical is an educational and professional reference. It is not for patient care decisions.

4. No patient identifiers or protected health information

Do not enter protected health information or anything that could identify a real patient into Bari Clinical. This includes names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, addresses, phone numbers, photos, prescription labels with identifiers, and any other patient-identifying or confidential information. This applies to every field, including Bari Sim and any field that says medicine names only.

5. How content is labeled

Bari shows a status on its reference content. The app always shows the status, so you can judge how much weight to give it.

StatusWhat it meansWhat it does not mean
Source-checkedAn automated checker confirmed every fact against a word-for-word quote from an allowed public source (FDA labeling, National Library of Medicine data, or open-licensed textbooks and articles). It is not clinician-reviewed. No licensed reviewer has signed off. It does not mean the source is complete, current, or fits a given patient.
Clinician-reviewedA licensed clinical reviewer signed off on it. The app shows the review date.It is not a guarantee. It does not replace your own judgment or the current full label, and the source may have changed since the review date.

Some sections are written in Bari's own words. Those sections show the quote they were checked against. We use AI models to help draft some reference content, such as study cases and some guide statements, from public sources only. AI-drafted text is shown only after it passes the source check, and it is never shown as clinician-reviewed unless a reviewer signs off. Starter (seed) content is not clinically reviewed, and the app says so.

If Bari has no information about a medicine or a combination, that never means it is free of risk or that there is no interaction.

6. Bari Sim

Bari Sim offers study cases for learning. The patients in the cases are fictional. Each case is source-checked against the FDA label. Bari Sim is for education only and is not for patient care. Do not enter real patient information. Your answers are graded on our server and are not stored. A grade in Bari Sim is not a measure of clinical competence and is not continuing education credit.

7. Bari Weekly

Bari Weekly is an optional weekly email about new FDA approvals and FDA label changes for medicines in Bari, sorted by the specialties you pick. It is off until you turn it on.

8. Scan

Scan shows selected source-linked label or drug-class information for the medicine names entered. It may not find every interaction, contraindication, duplicate therapy issue, allergy, dose issue, monitoring need, or patient-specific concern. "None found" never means that a regimen is free of risk, complete, or appropriate.

9. No ranking or recommendation

Bari Clinical does not rank treatment options or tell anyone which medicine to choose for a patient. Lists are ordered by the method stated on screen, such as alphabetical order or source classification.

10. Accuracy and current sources

Drug labels, FDA warnings, evidence, and regulatory status change. Bari shows the label version and date it used, but Bari may not have the newest version yet. You are responsible for checking the current source when information matters to patient care.

11. Emergencies and time-critical decisions

Do not use Bari Clinical for emergency, time-critical, or life-supporting decisions. Use emergency resources, current institutional protocols, and qualified clinical staff.

12. Verification and suspension

You confirm that the verification information you give is true and belongs to you. We may suspend or end your Bari Clinical access, or your Bari account, if your verification information is false, misleading, expired, or cannot be verified, or if you use Bari Clinical outside these terms.

13. No credentialing or endorsement

Verification confirms only the information Bari chooses to check. It is not credentialing, privileging, certification, continuing education credit, a competency determination, or an endorsement by Bari.

14. Your responsibility

You alone are responsible for following the licensing, scope-of-practice, supervision, institutional, educational, privacy, confidentiality, and professional rules that apply to you.

15. Privacy

Your use of Bari Clinical is covered by the Bari Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice. For Bari Clinical, we keep your role, verification details, saved items, Bari Weekly settings, and a record of which Weekly issues we sent you. Bari Sim answers are not stored. AI-written answers are off at launch. If they are turned on later, the app will ask your permission before any data is sent.

16. NO WARRANTY

BARI CLINICAL, BARI SIM, BARI WEEKLY, AND ALL THEIR CONTENT, INCLUDING SOURCE-CHECKED AND CLINICIAN-REVIEWED CONTENT, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR BY LAW, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND CURRENCY. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT ANY CONTENT IS COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR RIGHT FOR ANY PATIENT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO SOME MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

17. LIMIT OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM THAT COMES FROM A CLINICAL OR PATIENT-CARE DECISION MADE BY YOU OR ANYONE ELSE. THE LIMIT ON OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IN THE BARI TERMS OF USE APPLIES TO BARI CLINICAL. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY WHERE THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW THEM.

18. Changes to these terms

We may change these Clinical Terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and ask you to accept the new version before you keep using Bari Clinical. If you do not agree, stop using Bari Clinical.

19. Agreement

By turning on Bari Clinical, you confirm that you meet the requirements in section 2, will not enter patient identifiers or protected health information, and will use Bari Clinical only within these terms. We keep a record of the version you accepted and when (this text is version 2026-10.3). Disputes about these terms are handled as the Bari Terms of Use describe.
